DNA Solutions is accredited to the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) standard for relationship testing. This accreditation is the gold standard for DNA paternity testing laboratories. Accreditation is granted only to laboratories that achieve high quality performance for relationship testing which follows strict quality guidelines that cover all aspects of parentage testing from initial specimen collection to the issuance of the final results.
DNA Solutions is accredited by Forensic Quality Services - International (FQS-I), the country’s longest established provider of ISO accreditation to Forensic Sciences testing laboratories in the US. The FQS-I inspects U.S. laboratories for adherence to the ISO 17025 standards set by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and Forensic Requirements for Accreditation (FRA-1:2008/1). ISO/IEC 17025:2005 is the most widely used laboratory standard for testing laboratories and is internationally recognized and accepted world-wide. It contains all of the requirements that testing laboratories must meet if they wish to demonstrate that they operate a Quality Management System, are technically competent, and are able to generate technically valid results.
